FeRea

Read your favorite feeds everywhere!

What is FeRea?

You want to read your favorite feeds whenever you have the time for it. But you may have experienced that it can get pretty ugly to keep track of what items you have already read at work, at home, at university, etc.

For this problem, FeRea is the solution. FeRea can be installed on any webspace featuring PHP and MySQL quite easily. You can manage your feeds centrally and read them the most comfortable way: with the browser of your desire.
FeRea supports RSS and (mostly) Atom feeds through its underlying MagpieRSS library.

Why FeRea? Aren't there other projects already out there?

Yes, there are a few. But none of them offered a clean and extensible codebase in my opinion. And additionally, FeRea uniquely (from what I found) utilizes the Smarty template engine so that the entire look and feel of FeRea is easy to customize.

Sounds great, but are there any other pitfalls?

FeRea is still in development. That means that there may be bugs.

And license?

FeRea is realeased under the GNU General Public License, version 2. So you can download it for free right below.

Ok, ok, I have heard enough, where can I get it?
